Pairs just as effortlessly with crispy duck in hoisin sauce, spicy curries or roast veal as it does with a good cheese platter. A wine that doesn't ask if it can join the table – it just sits there.
In the small village of Fläsch, the wine-growing village of the Bündner Herrschaft, the Marugg family has been tending their vines for over 45 years – mindful of nature and clearly focused on the essentials. Here, long-standing tradition and precise work combine with the unmistakable character of the region. Each vine is carefully tended, each vintage bears the signature of the weather, the soil and experience. This wine is more than just enjoyment – it is living culture that connects people and generations and writes a new chapter in every glass.
Dark ruby red in the glass. On the nose, cherries, black berries and juicy stone fruit, underpinned by spicy, peppery notes and a hint of barrique. Powerful on the palate, ripe tannins, confident presence – a cuvée that prefers to make its mark rather than march ahead.
Aged in barrique.
