The canton of Geneva is the third-largest and westernmost wine-growing region in Switzerland. It is one of the warmest areas in the country, characterized by flat terrain and a diverse terroir of alluvial and rocky soils. Lake Geneva moderates the climate, cooling in summer and delaying frost in winter. Satigny, Switzerland’s largest wine-growing municipality, benefits from Rhône glacier waters flowing through the city into the Rhône River.
This wine captivates with its ruby-red color. Fruity notes of raspberries and blackcurrants define its aroma. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied with fruity nuances. Mature tannins and a structured, balanced, and robust body characterize it.
The aging of this wine is traditionally carried out in stainless steel tanks.
