This Cornalin has a deep ruby red colour with a lively sheen. The nose reveals ripe cherries, blackberries and a hint of clove spice. Juicy and elegant on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, mineral tension and a long, delicately smoky finish.
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
The vines grow in the best locations in Salgesch on calcareous, mineral-rich soils. These slopes give the wine its precise structure, depth and authentic expressiveness.
