This Chardonnay from the Vaud region is an excellent match for asparagus, seafood, fish, white meat, poultry, and cheese.
Château de Vincy is one of the oldest estates in the Vaud region. It was named after Romain Vincius, the first owner of the domain. Today, the property is owned by Maria Elena Pia Fernandez-Lopez de Ochoa and her husband, Lord Norman Foster, a globally acclaimed architect. The vineyard spans 9 hectares.
This fruity Chardonnay captivates with its brilliant pale yellow color. Its fresh and fruity aromas, including hints of citrus fruits, are truly inviting. On the palate, this Vaud wine is full-bodied and well-balanced, with a delightful aromatic finish.
This wine is aged partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in oak barrels.
The grapes come from vineyards with chalky and clay-rich soils.
