Like the 2019 and 2018 vintages, this vintage also produced an exceptional wine thanks to the contrasting climatic conditions. It combines the opulence of 2018 with the elegance of 2019 and is considered one of the winery's best vintages - characterised by an extravagant note and outstanding quality. Simply magnificent.

Culinary recommendation

An excellent pairing for all dishes with red meat, especially those that are spicy and slightly piquant, such as beef fillet, Chateaubriand, lamb, venison loin, as well as pâtés and terrines. Also enhances poultry dishes, pairing exceptionally well with duck.

Tasting note
chevron-down

The color reveals a deep ruby red. Intense violet hues combine with a brilliance that reflects the perfect balance between ripe fruit and delightful aromatic freshness.

On the nose, complex aromas of small wild black fruits blend with floral notes of peony and violet, along with spicy touches of dried black pepper and sandalwood.

On the palate, the wine is opulent and elegant, enchanting with its purity, a gentle onset, and a pleasing tension.

Vinification
chevron-down

The gentle extraction process in winemaking gives this vintage a harmonious balance, fine, silky tannins, and a pleasant acidity. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine then matures for 24 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
