Perfect as an aperitif and an excellent pairing with smoked salmon and sturgeon, seafood, white meat, and semi-aged cheese.
Nestled amidst the gentle hills of Arzo, at the foot of the historic Monte San Giorgio, lies the Tenimento dell’Ör estate. This winery, with roots dating back to the 18th century, seamlessly blends tradition with innovation. Spanning 11 hectares, including 8 hectares of vineyards, it cultivates 28 different grape varieties, reflecting the diversity and passion of Ticino's viticulture. The privileged southern exposure, bathed in abundant sunlight and invigorating breezes, creates ideal conditions for distinctive wines that capture the rich heritage of their surroundings in every bottle.
A vibrant yellow with deep golden highlights. The aroma is intense, fruity, and refined, featuring citrus and fruit notes, subtly complemented by vanilla from barrel aging. Well-balanced and complex, with a long, lingering finish. Remarkable depth, harmonious acidity, and elegant minerality, crowned by a bold personality.
The various grape varieties are harvested and processed separately. Fermentation and aging take place in French barriques, with 30% new and 70% second- and third-use barrels. The wine matures on the lees for approximately one year, with regular stirring using the "batonnage" technique.
The sunny and breezy southern exposure makes this location an exceptional spot for viticulture. The vineyard is situated at an altitude of 460 to 520 meters above sea level.
