In the old Benedictine monastery of St-Pierre in Môtiers, idyllically located in the Val-de-Travers, Caves Mauler has been producing traditional sparkling wines since 1829. In the centuries-old vaulted cellars, the cuvées mature to the steady rhythm of Swiss patience. Cordon Or Brut is a solid expression of this family tradition – traditional method, precision and continuity in a glass. With a modern additional cellar and an old heart, Mauler unites generations dedicated to the art of sparkling. Here, history meets enjoyment – and every cork tells the story.
A pale golden sparkling wine that opens with fresh citrus notes, accompanied by a hint of herbal spice. On the palate, roasted apple, a hint of honey and exotic mango unfold. Smooth, finely balanced and with elegant perlage – a glass full of lightness with character.
After ageing in stainless steel tanks, the wine is refined in the bottle according to the méthode traditionelle.
