Since 1829, Caves Mauler has been filling the quiet walls of the Benedictine monastery of St-Pierre in Môtiers with sparkling life. In the old cellars of Val-de-Travers, the cuvées mature in patient tranquillity, while a modern ageing cellar sets the pace of precision and continuity. Cordon Or is the symbol of this connection – tradition at heart, innovation in spirit. Each cork carries a piece of Swiss sparkling wine history.
A gentle golden yellow in the glass, Cordon Or demi-sec dances with fine bubbles. Aromas of ripe pear, honey and a hint of tropical fruit caress the nose, while the palate is creamy and playful, with a charming sweetness that is never intrusive. A tingle that seduces and exhilarates.
After ageing in stainless steel tanks, the wine is refined in the bottle according to the méthode traditionelle.
