The Spiez vineyard is among the highest-altitude wine regions north of the Alps. In 1927, Hans Barben gathered a group of wine enthusiasts who began cultivating Riesling-Sylvaner the following year. Shortly after, the variety was replaced with Chasselas, but the soils in Spiez proved unsuitable. As a result, Riesling-Sylvaner was replanted. This dedicated group formed an association focused on expanding the vineyards. In 1942, the association transformed into a cooperative, laying the foundation for the continued growth of winemaking in Spiez.
A multifaceted bouquet featuring floral aromas and yellow fruits, beautifully complemented by hints of lemongrass and spices. On the palate, it delights with its freshness and smoothness.
This wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
The grapes for this white blend are sourced from all vineyard sites of the Spiez estate.
