Charles Bonvin has been shaping Valais wine culture since 1858. This long-established winery owns some of the most beautiful terraced vineyards around Sion and devotes particular care to the native grape varieties of Valais. This combination of heritage, experience and innovative spirit gives rise to wines that proudly display their roots as well as their contemporary style.
Bright ruby red. The nose is characteristic and complex, with aromas of wild berries, violets, delicate spices and a subtle wild note. On the palate, the wine is harmonious, with medium body, supple, well-integrated tannins and nuances of dark chocolate and caramel. The finish is spicy, elegant and pleasantly long.
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
The grapes are grown in the sun-drenched vineyards around Sion. The dry climate of the Rhône Valley and the mineral-rich terraced slopes lend the wine its characteristic spice, elegant freshness and expressive character.
