In 1902, at the very time when the Belle Époque gave Verona a touch of lightness and elegance, Giacomo Battista Tommasi married his Augusta and moved in with her family. While he continued to cultivate the land in Valpolicella, Giacomo realised early on that wine was more than just a drink: he saw it as a high-quality experience for celebrations and social occasions.
Two world wars could only delay this dream. His children carried on his legacy and passionately contributed to the development of the municipality of Pedemonte - a place where the winegrowing family still lives and cultivates the art of wine culture today.
Bright light yellow colour. Intense and fruity aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Refreshing, tangy and present on the palate with a smooth finish.
Gentle and soft pressing with light destemming. Clarification through natural sedimentation, slow fermentation at controlled temperatures (14°/18°); maturation on fine lees and aging in stainless steel.
Estate vineyards in the municipality of Desenzano. The soil is mixed, with layers of fine sediments such as clay, mainly calcareous, and silt.
