The Lune Rousse is an excellent choice for a summer aperitif, barbecues, salads and lightly spiced exotic dishes. It pairs particularly well with grilled chicken skewers, a watermelon and feta salad, or prawns in an Asian marinade.
Since 1927, Les Frères Dubois have been continuing their family’s winemaking tradition in Lavaux. Today, the estate is run by the third generation of the family, Frédéric and Grégoire Dubois. Modern cellar technology meets the historic vaulted cellars of the Petit Versailles in Cully – with the aim of expressing the diverse terroirs and grape varieties of Vaud as clearly as possible.
A light, fresh pink in the glass. The aromatic bouquet reveals red berries, raspberries and blood orange, accompanied by delicate citrus notes. On the palate, the rosé is round, balanced and pleasantly structured, with soft acidity, subtle fruit sweetness and a juicy, medium-length finish.
After a short maceration period of just a few hours, the wine is fermented under temperature control and matured in enamelled steel tanks. This preserves the fresh berry fruit, the lightness and the distinct rosé style.
The grapes come from selected vineyards in the canton of Vaud, with the historic Plant Robert vineyard closely associated with the terraces of Lavaux. The sunny climate on Lake Geneva and the stony, well-warmed soils promote the ripe fruit and balanced structure of this rosé cuvée.
