Culinary recommendation
chevron-down

This alcohol-free rosé pairs very well with light, aromatic dishes and casual aperitif moments. It works particularly well with onion tart, summer vegetable dishes or a mildly spiced currywurst. It is also a harmonious choice with cold platters featuring cream cheese, vegetable terrines or Mediterranean starters.

Wine history
chevron-down

The Bioweingut Lenz in Uesslingen am Iselisberg is one of the defining pioneers of sustainable viticulture in Switzerland. Roland and Karin Lenz run the family business with biodynamic conviction and have developed it into a place where biodiversity, PIWI grape varieties and artisanal precision come together. Rather than focusing on short-term gains, the winery prioritises healthy soils, resilient vines and a long-term vision. It is precisely this approach that makes Lenz’s wines so distinctive and contemporary.

Tasting note
chevron-down

In the glass, Nullkommalenz rosé presents a light, clear rosé hue. On the nose, raspberry, redcurrant and a hint of nutmeg take centre stage, accompanied by floral nuances and a fresh, juicy impression. On the palate, this non-alcoholic wine is light, lively and fruit-driven, with fine acidity, delicate spice and a dry, clean finish.

Vinification
chevron-down

The base wines are produced from aromatic PIWI grapes and then gently de-alcoholised through filtration. Maturation takes place in steel tanks to preserve the fruit, freshness and clarity.

The grapes come from the sunny vineyards around Uesslingen in the canton of Thurgau, where calcareous soils and a balanced microclimate ensure optimal ripening conditions. The proximity to the Rhine and the open landscapes enhance the freshness and aromatics of the vines.
