The Bioweingut Lenz in Uesslingen am Iselisberg is one of the defining pioneers of sustainable viticulture in Switzerland. Roland and Karin Lenz run the family business with biodynamic conviction and have developed it into a place where biodiversity, PIWI grape varieties and artisanal precision come together. Rather than focusing on short-term gains, the winery prioritises healthy soils, resilient vines and a long-term vision. It is precisely this approach that makes Lenz’s wines so distinctive and contemporary.
Nullkommalez Rot presents itself in a clear ruby red with violet highlights. The nose is dominated by aromas of red berries, cherry and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is soft, fruity and light, with a subtle tannin structure and a lively freshness. The finish is dry, clean and pleasantly invigorating.
The base wines are vinified from PIWI grapes and then gently de-alcoholised to preserve the fruit aromas. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to emphasise its freshness and clarity.
