Petite Arvine Nobles Cépages

AOC Valais
Refinement begins where excess ends. The Petite Arvine Nobles Cépages focuses on the essentials: a rare Valais grape variety, a clear vision and the certainty that good taste needs no grand presentation. A wine for tables where quality is the finest topic of conversation.

Culinary recommendation
chevron-down

An excellent Petite Arvine to fish, seafood and goat’s cheese. Particularly lovely with oysters in lemon vinaigrette, pan-fried langoustines, a fish terrine with herbs or fresh goat’s cheese on beetroot carpaccio.

Wine history
chevron-down

Charles Bonvin was founded in Sion in 1858 and is the oldest wine house in Valais. Rather than relying solely on the wine trade, the house invested early on in its own vineyards and developed them into distinctive domaines. Today, a small team combines this historic foundation with contemporary precision and a clear vision: every wine should authentically express its grape variety and origin.

Tasting note
chevron-down

Pale yellow with greenish highlights. The delicate bouquet combines warm notes of rhubarb with pink grapefruit, citrus fruits, pear and subtle exotic hints. On the palate, it is complex, intense and silky, with lively acidity, distinct minerality and the characteristic salty, long-lasting finish.

Vinification
chevron-down

The vinification is geared towards a clean, variety-typical style with lively freshness, complex aromas and a salty finish.

Vineyards
chevron-down

The grapes come from Domaine Brûlefer and other selected vineyards around Sion. Dry, sun-drenched terraces and mineral-rich soils enhance the intense aromas, pronounced acidity and characteristic saltiness of the Petite Arvine.
