The Prosecco Centenario Extra Dry DOC is a versatile companion: ideal as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with fish, seafood, or desserts.
Since 1918, Vinicola Caccaro has combined tradition and innovation in the art of winemaking. Founded by Amedeo Caccaro, the winery remained a family business until it was sold to Colli Asolani di Bedin, with knowledge and passion passed down from generation to generation. Under new management, a perfect balance of state-of-the-art technology and traditional craftsmanship is used to produce first-class wines and sparkling wines that promise the utmost enjoyment.
A radiant straw-yellow color and a bouquet with delicate hints of citrus fruits, quince, and peaches, complemented by subtle floral aromas. On the palate, a gentle sweetness blends beautifully with a fine bitterness and a refreshing acidity. A sparkling and elegant taste sensation!
Fermentation takes place in large stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and fruity flavours. After the second fermentation under pressure, the sparkling wine is filtered and bottled, which gives it its fine perlage.
The Caccaro winery's vineyards are located in the Veneto region, in north-east Italy, in the favoured hilly areas of the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
