In 1929, a group of winemakers from Morges and the surrounding area came together to establish a cooperative winery. Over the years, the community steadily grew as more winegrowers, villages, and estates joined. Today, Cave de la Côte comprises 1,800 vineyard plots of various sizes, spanning 450 hectares from Lausanne to Satigny, representing a quarter of La Côte’s vineyard area.
Intense and vibrant, this wine showcases notes of passion fruit, peach, and grapefruit. On the palate, it delights with its freshness and mineral undertones.
The wine is aged in stainless steel containers.
The wine-growing region lies on the moraine of the Rhône glacier, where fine silt and clay blend with layers of molasse, limestone, gravel, and sand. Near the lake, gravelly soils are predominant.
