The Thelygenie VALSAR red is a cuvée of five wines from first-class Grand Cru vineyards in Valais. Each of the five wines, which are evenly represented in the blend, represents one of the daughters of the best Swiss winemaker of the decade. The Mathier daughters have chosen their lips as the symbol for the label, which, together with the mouth, play a central role in tasting and savouring wine. The red, sensual lips symbolise pleasure and youthfulness.
The Thelygenie VALSAR red presents itself in a deep dark colour with shades of burgundy. The barrique notes blend harmoniously into this full-bodied top wine. Its full-bodied start is rounded off by present, velvety-soft tannins. Like all barrique wines in the family line, it is vinified unfiltered, which preserves many of the wine's positive characteristics and guarantees an exceptional enjoyment experience.
