The Thelygenie VALSAR white is a blend of five wines, all sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Valais. Each wine, equally present in the blend, represents one of the five daughters of Switzerland’s top winemaker of the decade. The Mathier daughters chose lips as the symbol for the label. Lips are crucial for wine tasting and represent both enjoyment and youthfulness.
Aromatic and elegant, the blend presents itself on the nose. The primary aromas of Muscat are complemented by Chardonnay and Ermitage, providing a nice body. The delicate Heida gives a refreshing start on the palate with a subtle acidity. Amigne adds a honey note and a hint of ripe fruits at the end, with a long, sweet finish.
The destemmed grapes from each variety are vinified separately, and the finished wines are blended through a blind tasting.
The blend is made from different grape varieties grown in various locations. The terroir is carefully matched to each grape variety, creating a unique tasting experience in the glass.
