Founded in 1902, the Artisans Vignerons d’Yvorne (AVY) cooperative is now one of the most innovative wine producers in the region. Combining tradition with modern approaches, it focuses on crafting exceptional Vaud wines while preserving the entrusted natural environment. The wines primarily come from the prestigious Yvorne Chablais AOC appellation. In addition to Chasselas, the range includes red wines, white specialties, and contemporary creations that captivate.
The nose is expressive and refined. The wine reveals an impressive aromatic variety with notes of red fruits and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with the intensity of red fruit flavors taking center stage. The development is marked by the finesse and elegance of the tannins. The finish delights with its length and the harmonious complexity of the aromas.
Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks.
The Yvorne appellation owes its uniqueness to an exceptional soil shaped over centuries by time and climate. It is characterized by a diverse mosaic of distinct terroirs. The Vaud wines from Yvorne, known for their power and finesse, draw their essence from limestone-rich clay soil, created by the massive rockfall on March 4, 1584, when enormous boulders broke off from the Tour d’Aï and almost completely destroyed the village.
