Elias Bachmann began his career as a carpenter. Today, he is dedicated to viticulture at the Heidegg Winery, where he has gained in-depth knowledge enabling him to manage his own vineyards successfully. In 2019, he decided to expand the traditional arable farming of his family business, now in its sixth generation, by introducing vineyards. The goal of this project is to enrich the product diversity in the Seetal region and support local production. The Bachmann family cultivates 1.5 hectares of land, growing four fungus-resistant grape varieties to minimize the use of pesticides.
This red wine impresses with its bright and clear violet hue. The nose reveals delicate aromas of blackberries and dark cherries, complemented by a hint of spice. On the palate, it showcases an elegant and finely structured character, beautifully framed by soft tannins.
Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks.
The grapes grow in a sun-kissed location, on slightly sandy moraine soils with a balanced mineral composition.
