With Grand Stockalper, the Cave de l'Hospice de Salquenen commemorates the great Valais merchant Kaspar Jodok von Stockalper. The high-quality wines from Valais in this range have a distinct profile: clear, decisive and deeply rooted in the terroir. They represent entrepreneurial spirit, strength and authentic Valais origins.
Delicate salmon pink. Red berries, raspberries and a hint of citrus on the nose. Fresh, juicy and balanced on the palate with lively fruit and a fine, dry finish.
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
The vines grow on stony, limestone-rich soils around Salgesch. The alpine climate ensures freshness, tension and typical minerality.
