This versatile red wine is a real all-rounder at the table: it goes well with Mediterranean dishes, pasta with tomato sauce, pizza, grilled meats or mild hard cheeses. It also cuts a delightful figure with an autumn mushroom pan or a spicy vegetable gratin. Ideal for uncomplicated moments of enjoyment.
In 1994, Roland and Karin Lenz started a new chapter in Iselisberg (TG) as pioneers of organic winegrowing in German-speaking Switzerland. The beginnings were challenging, but since 2006 the winery has consistently focused on organic methods and now holds Demeter certification. Over 30 fungus-resistant grape varieties (PIWIs) thrive on around 22 hectares – in the spirit of biodiversity, innovation and vision. The multi-award-winning winery stands for characterful organic wines with a clear signature and lots of personality.
It shines a deep ruby red in the glass. The nose reveals an enticing bouquet of ripe berries, underpinned by a delicate, spicy note. On the palate, the wine is round and smooth, with a pleasant structure and a gentle finish – an accessible red wine with charm and depth.
The wine is traditionally aged in stainless steel tanks.
