An elegant Chasselas, perfect as an aperitif and an ideal match for asparagus, fish, poultry, and white meat.
On the shores of Lake Geneva, from the terraced vineyards of Lavaux. This wine originates from the protected designation of Saint-Saphorin. The Bovy family, based in Chexbres, is one of the long-established families in Vaud. Their wine cellar dates back to the 16th century, and the oldest vineyards were acquired in 1779. Henri Bovy began developing his vineyards in 1925. In 1937, Maurice Bovy started bottling and selling the wines. His son Bernard took over the estate in 1960. Since 1997, Bernard's sons Bertrand and Eric have been running the winery, marking the fourth generation.
The aromas blend harmoniously, combining floral and fruity notes. On the palate, the wine is round, rich, and vibrant, with a delicate hint of bitterness in the finish.
After completing alcoholic fermentation and malolactic conversion, the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks.
The grapes come from the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, characterized by clay and limestone soils.
