Production process
The Valais Williams pears are harvested before full ripeness and left to mature in crates. When they reach ideal ripeness (edible, yellow fruits), they are hand-selected, crushed, and placed into fermentation. After alcoholic fermentation, the pear must is slowly distilled in a copper still. The distillate is then aged for at least 12 months, reaching its final maturity in oak barrels.
A high-quality eau-de-vie made from Valais pears, featuring a typical intense fruit aroma and flavor, elegantly complemented by woody notes and hints of vanilla.
