Château Vieux Malleret MC Haut-Médoc AC is a rich red wine with aromas of ripe berries, spice, and a subtle hint of mild tobacco. On the palate, it is fruit-forward, mineral-driven, and well-balanced. This medium-bodied wine features crisp acidity, refined tannins, and a layered finish with hints of leather, minerals, and chocolate.
Gravity filling, parcel-specific vinification, punching down of the cap, fermentation temperature between 27 and 28°C (in temperature-controlled concrete and wooden vats), maceration time of 3 to 4 weeks. Aged for 12 months in barriques (one-third new barrels) with tailored fining.
