Facts
The roots of Gialdi Vini date back to 1953, when Guglielmo Gialdi founded the company in Mendrisio. Initially focused on the wine trade, the winery developed into one of Ticino's leading producers in the 1980s with its own Merlots. Today, Feliciano Gialdi runs the company, which stands for quality, innovation and a deep connection to the terroir.
Tasting note
Grappa Sassi Grossi from Gialdi is clear and brilliant in the glass. Fine fruit aromas with subtle spice notes unfold on the nose. On the palate, it is soft, round and balanced, with a harmonious structure and a lingering presence. An elegant pomace brandy made from the Merlot grapes of the Sassi Grossi wine.
