The Vaud blend pairs beautifully with dishes of white and red meat, Mediterranean cuisine, and cheese platters.
The Dézaley vineyards, established over 800 years ago, have been the centerpiece of the Dubois family's winemaking tradition since 1927. This family heritage is now carried on by the third generation. In 2005, Frédéric and Grégoire took over the management of the estate. The exquisite wines mature in the historic cellars of "Petit Versailles," a building from the early 19th century.
An intense, warm red with a delicate robe shimmering with garnet reflections. The nose reveals fruity aromas, led by notes of black cherries. A subtle hint of vanilla in the finish gives this mildly spicy wine a harmonious balance and a rich fullness.
The grapes are hand-picked, with the harvest taking place between late September and late October. Before blending, each grape variety matures for 12 to 15 months in the cellar: Gamaret and Garanoir in stainless steel tanks, while Merlot and Cabernet Franc are aged in French oak barrels.
The vines grow on the soils of an ancient glacial moraine.
