Excellent as an aperitif or with fine dishes such as grilled fish, poultry and white meat. Seafood, goat's cheese – especially Crottin de Chavignol – as well as fresh summer salads or asparagus dishes also harmonise perfectly with its fresh, aromatic character.
The Domaine de la Villaudière is run by Jean-Marie Reverdy, his wife Catherine and their son Guillaume, the fourth generation of the family. The family estate covers around 15 hectares in Verdigny/Sancerre, spread over approximately 80 plots with limestone, marl and flint soils. They combine tradition and modernity with sustainable cultivation. 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Pinot Noir reflect the terroirs. Their conviction: winegrowing must be resource-efficient – from the vine to the glass.
Light straw yellow with delicate golden reflections. The nose reveals delicate floral aromas accompanied by a hint of exotic fruits. On the palate, the wine is balanced and fresh, with a lingering elegance on the finish.

The growing area extends around the town of Sancerre, on the left bank of the upper Loire, opposite Pouilly-Fumé. The region is best known for its white wine, which is mainly made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety.
