Triologie rouge

Vin de pays suisse
Unpretentious, but anything but dull – this red wine shakes things up without causing a drama. Three grape varieties, one origin, one wine that likes to provoke. If you love company and substance, this is the wine for you – clever, charming and absolutely unique.

Culinary recommendation
chevron-down

Pairs perfectly with regional home cooking and spicy main courses: such as Zurich-style sliced meat with rösti or hearty peppers stuffed with minced meat and herbs. Asian flavours such as soy-glazed duck also perfectly complement the peppery, spicy character of this wine.

Wine history
chevron-down

In 1994, Roland and Karin Lenz opened a new chapter in winegrowing at Iselisberg (TG) as pioneers of organic wine in German-speaking Switzerland. The road was rocky, but they persevered with determination and a clear vision. Since 2006, the winery has been working exclusively organically and is now Demeter-certified. Over 30 PIWI varieties grow on 22 hectares – an expression of diversity and an innovative connection to nature. The multi-award-winning winery stands for distinctive organic wines with character.

Tasting note
chevron-down

Medium ruby with violet undertones. Pure on the nose with light aromas of sour cherry, red berries and a hint of mocha, enveloped by spicy oak notes. Medium-bodied on the palate with a lovely melt, lively acidity and integrated tannins. Fruit-driven finish with a long finish.

Vinification

The wine is aged in steel tanks.
