A wine that pairs beautifully with appetizers, fresh spring salads, light dishes, or delicate fish – or can simply be enjoyed on its own.
Each day begins with dedication and respect, driven by a commitment to excellence. At the heart of the craft lies a deep passion for winemaking, carried out with care and devotion. The result is extraordinary organic wines with unique character – wines that bring joy and inspiration. Tradition and origin serve as the foundation of this pursuit.
For three generations, the premium vineyards at Wagram have been cultivated with great responsibility. On the fertile loess soils of Hohenberg and Georgenberg, the vines thrive, providing the natural basis for wines of true personality. Central to this approach is organic farming, shaped by sustainability and an uncompromising quest for quality. Everything takes the time it needs to fully develop its potential. Nature is treated with respect, intervening only as much as necessary. Every step is completed by hand – a given.
In the cellar, meticulous and gentle methods preserve the essence of the grapes. The focus is on enhancing the character of the fruit and allowing it to shine. The result is wines that are clearly structured and authentic – true personalities, shaped by the distinctive characteristics of soil, climate, and variety. And all of this can be tasted in every sip.
A true reflection of Austria and the Wagram region: The Grüner Veltliner "Wagram Terrassen" is deeply influenced by the region's loess soils and embodies the essence of its origin. Through careful vinification in stainless steel tanks, it reveals a pure and authentic character. With its delicate spicy fruit, vibrant freshness, and a touch of peppery liveliness, it offers an irresistible drinking experience and a delightful flow on the palate.
The grapes are exclusively hand-harvested and meticulously selected directly in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place at approximately 19°C in stainless steel tanks, where the wine is also matured.
The Hohenberg and Georgenberg vineyards are characterized by fertile loess soil.
