Each day is approached with commitment and respect, always striving to create something extraordinary. At the heart of it all lies a deep connection to winemaking, carried out with passion and great care. The result is organic wines with distinctive character – wines that inspire and bring joy. Tradition and origin form the solid foundation of this craft.
For three generations, the outstanding vineyards at Wagram have been cultivated with great responsibility. On the nutrient-rich loess soils of Hohenberg and Georgenberg, vines grow that produce wines with an unmistakable personality. Organic farming, sustainability, and the pursuit of the highest quality are central to this philosophy. Everything is given the time it needs to fully develop. Nature is treated with care – interventions are minimal but purposeful. Handwork is a matter of course.
In the cellar, precision and sensitivity guide the work to preserve the essence of the grapes. The focus is on highlighting the character of the fruit and giving it space to fully express itself. This results in wines with a clear structure and authentic expression – true personalities that reflect the unique attributes of soil, climate, and variety. This quality is evident in every sip.
This Riesling Ortswein is crafted from carefully selected vineyards in the Grossweikersdorf sites of Hohenberg, Georgenberg, and Kobel. The deep, yellow loess soils of these locations impart a rich, aromatic profile with a hint of stone fruit to the Riesling. The wine impresses with its ripe, refreshing acidity, precise fruit flavors, and refined, elegant minerality.
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and carefully selected directly in the vineyard. Fermentation and maturation take place entirely in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on the full lees and partially on the fine lees, refining its structure and enhancing its aromatic profile.
The vineyards of Hohenberg and Georgenberg are distinguished by their particularly fertile loess soils, which provide ideal conditions for viticulture.
