Culinary recommendation
chevron-down

This wine pairs excellently with scallops in lemon butter, roasted sea bream or poultry in a cream sauce. Regional goat's cheese, asparagus risotto or sushi with fresh tuna also highlight its minerality and freshness.

Wine history
chevron-down

Ferraton Père & Fils has been closely associated with the northern Rhône Valley since 1946. Jean Orëns Ferraton laid the foundation stone for a winery in Tain-l'Hermitage that has been combining tradition and modernity ever since. Today, biodynamic wines are produced here that express the character of the great Rhône vineyards. With each vintage, the house demonstrates that true inspiration comes from respect for nature and origin – a legacy that is reflected in the glass.

Tasting note
chevron-down

The Syrah IGP Collines Rhodaniennes has a bright ruby red colour. The nose reveals aromas of red fruits, black berries and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with smooth tannins and a pleasant length.

Vinification

The wine is aged for around 6 months, partly in demi-muids (oak barrels).
