Excellent with pasta with strong sauces, grilled meat, game dishes or braised vegetables. Also an ideal accompaniment to medium-aged cheese.

Wine history
chevron-down

Tenuta San Giacomo in Butera is located at an altitude of 400 metres and is characterised by chalky, white soils that reflect the light and provide ideal ripening conditions. Here, the Cusumano family cultivates mainly Nero d'Avola – the symbol of Sicily. The influence of the sea, the altitude and the strong contrasts between day and night give the grapes freshness and balance. For generations, Cusumano has been combining tradition with a modern vision.
