This wine is an excellent accompaniment to scallops in lemon butter, fried sea bream or poultry in cream sauce. Local goat's cheese, asparagus risotto or sushi with fresh tuna also highlight its minerality and freshness.
Ferraton Père & Fils has been shaping the northern Rhône Valley since 1946. Founded by Jean Orëns Ferraton in Tain-l'Hermitage, the winery has grown into an address that combines tradition and innovation. Today, biodynamic wines are produced here that reflect the spirit of the famous Rhône vineyards. Year after year, the house proves that true inspiration comes from respect for nature and origin – a heritage that is unmistakably reflected in the glass.
Saint-Péray Le Mialan presents itself in a light straw yellow with green reflections. The nose reveals citrus notes, white fruits such as peach and a clear mineral character. On the palate, it has a precise attack, a firm structure and a salty, lingering finish.
30% of the wine is aged in half barrels, the rest in stainless steel tanks. Both batches are blended shortly before bottling, in the spring after the harvest.
