This Viognier pairs beautifully with grilled pike-perch, roast chicken or a saffron risotto. Asian cuisine such as fried prawns with ginger or a mild Thai curry also bring out its aromatics. As a vegetarian option, it goes well with goat's cheese or pumpkin ravioli with sage butter.
Since 1946, Ferraton Père & Fils has been synonymous with the soul of the northern Rhône Valley. What began with Jean Orëns Ferraton and his passion for the vines of Tain-l'Hermitage has developed into a house that elegantly combines tradition and modernity. Today, wines are produced here that not only capture the character of the legendary Rhône vineyards, but also embody the philosophy of biodynamics. With each vintage, the winery demonstrates that respect for nature and origin is not a dogma, but a source of genuine inspiration – a heritage that remains palpable in the glass.
The Viognier Bio is a brilliant yellow-green colour. The nose reveals intense notes of apricot, ripe pear and a hint of orange peel. On the palate, juicy fruitiness combines with a lively freshness – typical of the granite-rich soils.
The wine is aged in steel tanks.
