Wine history
chevron-down

In the 1980s, Guido Brivio established his own wine brand and collaborated closely with the esteemed Gialdi winery, which has long processed grapes from vintners in the Sottoceneri region. Brivio wines focus on products from southern Ticino. In 2001, Brivio Vini SA was acquired by Gialdi Vini SA, expanding the range to include wines from northern Ticino.

Tasting note
chevron-down

Intense and complex, with delicate floral nuances. Aromas of exotic fruits and citrus are complemented by subtly integrated toasted notes like vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, offering a harmonious array of fruit flavors that lead to a lingering, mineral finish.

Vinification
chevron-down

During the destemming of the Merlot grapes, the must is obtained through the natural draining of the juice. This is followed by an extremely gentle pressing. The clear must is fermented and aged for 8 months in French oak barriques.
