A wine made for Mediterranean cuisine: perfect with lamb chops with rosemary, malloreddus alla campidanese (Sardinian pasta with salsiccia and tomatoes) or a mature Pecorino Sardo. Also a strong companion to grilled vegetables and game dishes.
Rooted in the heart of Apulia, Baroncelli looks beyond the horizon: the winery not only vinifies Primitivi, but also single-varietal wines from all over southern Italy – from Apulia to Sardinia. The diversity of these regions is reflected in the glass: powerful, full of character and always unmistakably Mediterranean. The sun motif on the label represents what unites all the vineyards – heat and coolness, soils full of energy and a climate that shapes the vines and grapes. Baroncelli combines these elements to create wines that respect tradition, allow for modern freshness and express the full spectrum of southern Italy.
In the glass, the Cannonau is a bright brick red. On the nose, dried fruit blends with spicy pepper notes, accompanied by hints of coffee and fine smoke. On the palate, it is full and smooth, with juicy tannins, a harmonious structure and a long, powerful finish.
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
