Culinary recommendation
chevron-down

This cuvée is particularly at home with hearty dishes: whether pink roasted entrecôte, braised beef or a spicy pasta with mushroom ragù, the wine complements powerful flavours with elegance and depth. It also confidently shows what it is capable of with a piece of mature hard cheese or game dishes.

Wine history
chevron-down

What began in 2004 with the arrival of Peter and Yvonne Gehring is now an established name among family-run wineries in the Zurich Unterland region. Covering 6.6 hectares and focusing on Pinot Noir, the winery stands for uncompromising quality – characterised by restraint in the cellar and attention to detail. Multiple award-winning, the focus remains consistent: authentic wines with character and provenance. A true labour of love that will impress wine enthusiasts in every respect.

Tasting note
chevron-down

The nose reveals an exciting interplay of dark berries, ripe cherries and delicate spice notes. The Pinot Noir brings elegance, finesse and juicy fruit, while the Gamaret provides structure, depth and spicy accents. On the palate, the cuvée is full-bodied, with ripe tannins, subtle toasted aromas and a harmonious, long finish.

Vinification
