A wine that pairs perfectly with roasted or grilled red meat, game birds, and cheese platters.
The Dézaley vineyards, established over 800 years ago, have been at the heart of the Dubois family’s winemaking tradition since 1927. Today, this legacy is continued by the third generation. In 2005, Frédéric and Grégoire took over the management of the estate. The exquisite wines mature in the historic cellars of "Petit Versailles," a building from the early 19th century.
This fruity, well-balanced wine with a full-bodied structure and subtle hints of pepper captivates with its deep color and violet highlights. After a few years of aging, its smooth texture, harmonious balance, pleasant warmth, and complex, long-lasting finish come into full bloom.
The grapes are hand-picked, typically between late September and mid-October. After pressing, this exceptional red wine undergoes a second fermentation directly in the barrel. It then matures for 15 to 18 months, with regular stirring of the lees (Remontage), before being bottled.
The vines thrive in vineyards rooted in soils formed by an ancient glacial moraine.
