Culinary recommendation
chevron-down

This Tuscan red wine is the ideal companion for hearty dishes. It pairs beautifully with game in rich sauces, braised or roasted red meat, robust stews, and aged cheeses. Spicy meats like civet or first courses with game sauces are also elevated by its flavors. For the adventurous: a piece of dark chocolate completes the experience. Try it with venison stew and polenta.

Wine history
chevron-down

In 2001, Poggio Mandorlo was born from the vision of Roberto, Felice, Giuseppe, and Fabio to showcase their homeland through exceptional wines. Located in the Montecucco DOCG region, the estate is guided by renowned winemakers Roberto Cipresso and Filippo Paoletti. On 94 hectares, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc thrive under ideal conditions. Poggio Mandorlo is known for award-winning wines like “Il Guardiano,” “La Querce,” and the Super Tuscans Poggio Mandorlo and Ombre. Here, tradition, innovation, and deep respect for nature come together in a unique philosophy.
