Monticello Barbera d’Asti Superiore

DOCG
Barbera d'Asti Superiore is the ambassador of the land from which it comes. Its lively acidity and deep fruit tell of sun-soaked vineyards and patient craftsmanship. A wine that grounds the moment while uplifting the soul - full-bodied yet light, complex yet accessible. It is not a drink, but a dialogue with life.

Traditional, with frequent blending of the skins, but without the stalk. Matured for one year in stainless steel tanks.

Barbera is an excellent reflection of the terroir of Piedmont. Asti tends to produce more elegant and finer wines, while Barbera d'Alba is often somewhat more powerful and full-bodied.
