Served at room temperature, this Pinot Noir is the perfect partner for a tender beef fillet – ideally with a delicate herb crust or accompanied by sautéed mushrooms. Its elegant structure emphasises the finesse of the meat without overpowering it.
In Zizers, on a sun-drenched Rüfischutt cone, Philipp Grendelmeier cultivates around six hectares of vines with great sensitivity – ten varieties, full of character and multifaceted. The dry climate, proximity to the mountains and a touch of foehn wind give each wine its unmistakable signature. Toxin-free cultivation, precision and passion characterise everything – from Riesling-Sylvaner to Pinot Noir. These wines are ambassadors for the Bündner Herrschaft region, demonstrating that honest quality belongs in the glass.
Deep ruby red in the glass, this Pinot Noir seduces with aromas of ripe cherries, delicate vanilla and elegant roasted notes. On the palate, it offers a harmonious interplay of gentle wood notes, fine acidity and the unmistakable Pinot fruit – charming, balanced and with a long, inviting finish.
The wine is aged for twelve months in barrique barrels.
Over 40-year-old vines in the ‘Feld’ vineyard, characterised by alkaline, dry soils.
