For centuries, the Langhe and Roero have been a land with a vocation for wine-growing, the environment is evocative and full of charm and the mountains frame steep hills and gentle slopes.
In 1959, in an extraordinary land of great wines and agricultural tradition, the Cantina del Nebbiolo was founded by 23 founding members.
The principles of sustainable, healthier and more attentive agriculture encourage our contributing members to enter into harmony with nature, in the knowledge that they are the main actors of the ‘wine miracle’.
With the eye of those who are more attentive to mother nature's timing, small quantities of organically grown grapes are vinified, making the most of the winegrower's effort.
Simple farming tradition, passion and commitment are the constants that accompany research and experimentation in the cellar.
With notes of aromatic herbs and exotic fruits on the nose, the Roero Arneis Arenarium is silky and smooth on the palate, with mineral undertones and a lush finish.
Long fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15-18°C, increased to 20-21°C at the end. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks and finally for several months in the bottle.
It comes from arneis vineyards cultivated using the Guyot method, on soils composed of calcareous marl with sandstone outcrops.
